Sherlock Holmes: Best man? Few could have pictured that, but boy was it fun. In the second episode of the season, it’s John and Mary’s wedding day, and Sherlock has been asked to be John’s best man. Most of the episode centers around Sherlock’s fabulous best man speech, which sees Sherlock telling stories about his relationship with John. The stories that he tells are recent cases that he and John had been apart of, and we see these cases as flashbacks while Sherlock is describing them. The stories were wonderfully woven together, with one scene showing everyone happy and at a wedding recital, and the next having Sherlock and John investigate a murder. It made for some truly funny moments.
